This is straight from the Hershey's Cocoa Powder box.
You may add marshmallows, cinnamon, or other items to your hot cocoa before serving
Serves about six 6-oz servings. If you're like me that would be three 12-oz servings.
This is four times the "serves four" recipe. We tried the party size recipe from Hershey's and we like this one better. Their version is provided below so you can try it yourself.
Stir often when serving.

They say this should give twenty-two 6-oz servings, but I find that our mugs hold much more than just six ounces, so we only get about ten servings from this sized batch.
Also, I use a large non-stick pan. This seems to help keep the milk from scalding and/or sticking to the bottom of the pan. Even with the non-stick pan I do stir frequently.
One more note: Shortly after adding the gallon of milk, the side of the pan should cool down to just a bit hotter than the contents. This makes it acceptable to touch the side of the pan to judge the temperature of the drink. As you can guess, this can be hazardous so touch at your own risk.
This is from the Hershey Kitchens web page. It's alright but we like the above version better.
