Great for dipping vegetables

Prep time 5 minutes, then chill at least 30 minutes

Things You Need

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Serving bowl
Fruit Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/4 cup cold milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz crushed pineapple with juice (do not drain)
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut

Directions

  1. Whisk pudding and milk until well blended
  2. Stir in sour cream, pineapple, and coconut
  3. Cover and chill 30 to 60 minutes
  4. Best when served on the same day it is made

Optional

Can be served in a pineapple shell for better presentation.


Banana Dip

Prep time 15 minutes
Makes about 3 cups

Things You Need

  • 2 mixing bowls
  • Mashing and blending tools

Ingredients

  • 8 T bananas mashed (about 1 1/2 bananas)
  • 4 t orange juice
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 t ground cinnamon
  • 3 T powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Blend together bananas and orange juice
  2. Set banana mixture aside
  3. Beat heavy cream, then add cinnamon
  4. Continue beating
  5. When thick, add the powdered sugar
  6. Add banana mixture a bit at a time
